Make webfonts selectable
This is to be fixed upstream but...
<aleray> hi, it seems like when we create a pdf that uses webfont glyphs get outlined and the text is not selectable anymore. But if we use system fotns it doesn't happen. Any clue?
<annulen> aleray: it is known issue but I have not investigated it yet, let me find some details

<annulen> cannot find irc log, it's probably on my home machine
<annulen> anyway, I haven't dig up much that time, just found that local font is rendered as text and web font as image

<annulen> aleray: if you'd like to debug it yourself I can help
<annulen> aleray: I suspect it can be related to QPdfEngine (in QtGui), maybe it doesn't know how to embed this custom QRawFont into document and draws glyphs as image
<annulen> WebKit cannot render TTF fonts itself, and all Qt code paths seem to go through QPainter::drawGlyphRun
<annulen> aleray: I would try simple page with the only one text line that uses web font, and then check if QPdfEngine::drawTextItem is called in QtGui
